The Squad, Utility, and all the Chiefs (10 total) made the response. Company 17 ( New Franklin ) found a child trapped in an auger inside a silo. Crews from 17 & 7 worked hand in hand to free the subject from the auger, while other firefighters made also an exit path from the silo onto the tip of Truck 17 as the subject was about 15-20 feet up in the silo. Crews then turned the patient over to the care of EMS and WellFlight 2-8.
